We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to build and ship our iOS and Android apps in Flutter. You will own the mobile experience end to end, including store releases.

Our apps bring AI features to people on the move, so reliability on poor connections and a clean, fast interface matter a great deal.

About Power Tech Nexus

Power Tech Nexus is the product company of the Power Tech group. We build and run our own AI-driven software products, including Power EA, for Australian businesses. We are a small team growing deliberately, so every hire shapes how the product and the engineering practice turn out.

What you will do

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps in Flutter and Dart
• Own the release process for the Apple App Store and Google Play
• Build offline-first features with local storage and reliable sync
• Integrate with backend APIs, authentication, push notifications and in-app subscriptions
• Write widget and integration tests and set up mobile CI/CD
• Work with the frontend engineer to keep web and mobile consistent

What you will bring

• Three or more years building production Flutter apps, with apps live in both stores
• Strong Dart and a state management approach you can defend (Riverpod, Bloc or similar)
• Offline storage and sync patterns
• Push notifications, deep linking and authentication flows
• Mobile CI/CD (Codemagic, Fastlane or GitHub Actions)
• Widget and integration testing

Nice to have

• Native Swift or Kotlin for platform channels
• In-app purchases and subscriptions
• Voice or audio features in mobile apps
• React Native or React web experience
• Mobile app security (certificate pinning, secure storage)
